Custom Showers

Custom shower glass, built for your bathroom.

Frameless, semi-frameless, sliding or neo-angle. Measured to your opening, installed clean, and checked with you before the last payment.

Why showers are different

A window is a size. A shower is a fit.

Replacement window glass comes in standard sizes. Shower glass doesn't. Your walls aren't perfectly square, your tile has a thickness, and your door needs to swing clear of the toilet.

So every panel is fabricated for your opening after Josh measures it himself. Off by an eighth of an inch and the door won't seal. That's why the measurement gets checked twice before anything is ordered.

Real jobs, DFW homes

Four ways to do it. All of them Josh's work.

Frameless single-door shower glass with black hardware, installed in a DFW home

Frameless single door

One hinged door, fixed panel, no metal frame. The cleanest look and the easiest to keep clean.

Frameless corner shower beside a freestanding tub

Corner and neo-angle

Two or three panels meeting at a corner. Built for tight layouts and rooms with a tub next door.

Sliding shower door with brass track and marble tile

Sliding track

A door that slides instead of swings. For tub-shower combos and bathrooms where a swing door won't clear.

Black-framed shower enclosure with green tile

Framed and semi-frameless

Black or brass frames that make the glass a design feature. Also the budget-friendlier route.

The process

From first call to last walkthrough.

1

Free assessment call

Tell Josh about the space: framed or frameless, hinge or slide, the tile you've picked. He'll tell you what works and what to expect. Then he schedules the field measure.

2

Field measure and install

Josh measures on site and checks every number a second time before the glass is ordered. On install day: drop cloths first, hardware matched, room left clean.

3

Walkthrough, then final payment

You open the door, run the water and look at every seal with Josh standing there. The second half of the payment happens after you're satisfied.

Deposit, contract, warranty

The paperwork protects you, not just us.

50% when the materials are ordered, remaining balance after the final walkthrough. Your shower is cut for your opening and can't be resold, so the first half covers the fabrication. The second half doesn't leave your hands until you've seen the finished job.

Everything in writing. Glass type, hardware finish, door swing, the dates. If it's on the contract, it's what you get. If something's not right, the contract is how we fix it.

1-year installation warranty. If something about the install isn't right in the first year, Josh comes back and fixes it.

Questions

Straight answers before you book.

How does the deposit work?

50% when the materials are ordered, remaining balance after the final walkthrough. Your glass is cut for your opening and can't go back on a shelf, so the first half covers the fabrication. The second half stays in your pocket until you've opened the door, run the water and checked the seals with Josh standing there. All of it goes in writing before anything is ordered.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. Every install comes with a 1-year installation warranty, written into your contract. If something about the install isn't right in the first year, Josh comes back and fixes it. He also photo-documents every finished job, so there's a record of exactly what went in and when.

How long does a custom shower take?

Josh measures on site and orders your glass the next business day. Fabrication usually takes 4 to 7 business days. Install day is quick: most showers go in within 1 to 2 hours, and the bathroom is left clean. So from field measure to finished shower, plan on about 1 to 2 weeks. If your job is going to run longer, Josh tells you up front.

Where do you install showers?

Across Dallas–Fort Worth: Fort Worth, Arlington, Dallas, Grand Prairie, Irving, Mansfield, Burleson and the rest of DFW within about 40 miles of Arlington. Not sure you're in range? Call or text (945) 307-2800 and ask. If it's a stretch, Josh will say so.

Framed, semi-frameless or frameless: which one should I get?

Frameless uses thick glass held by small clips and hinges, so the tile is what you see. Semi-frameless puts a slim metal edge on the fixed panels and keeps the door clean. Framed wraps every edge in metal and uses thinner glass, and it's the most forgiving when the walls aren't perfectly plumb. Which one fits depends on your opening, your tile and how the walls sit. That's what the free assessment call is for: Josh will tell you what works and what won't look right.
